At Stockinpiggle Farm, our commitment to ethical and regenerative farming practices ensures that our pigs lead a healthy and natural life with regular moment around the farm our main tool. Our pigs, primarily Rare & Heritage Breed Hampshires and Berkshires Breeds, are born, bred, and raised right here on our farm. They enjoy full access to the outdoors, thriving on the lush pastures that provide them with ample room to roam and express their natural instincts.
As our pigs mature, we take special care to acclimate them to movement. We walk them through our yards on a weekly basis, ensuring they are comfortable with the process. When the time comes, we transport them to the abattoir in the early morning hours, prioritising their well-being throughout the journey.
